| Last show of the year, pictures! Last weekend was the last show of the year for Indy and I. I'm really happy with how well he handled his first show season (with the exception of last weekend, he was being a bit of a jerk!) I just wanted to share a few pictures with all of you! Here we are waiting to go in for open halter (his biggest class yet, and he won! )  Setting up    Being checked out by the judge   Showmanship    Having a chat before another showmanship class, I was telling him to be a good boy...  "But Moooom!!"  We came to an agreement   Lunging on Sunday morning  Trotting to line up in halter on Sunday morning   Indy's attitude about the whole weekend...   He has outgrown his show halter, so I tried my other one on him to see if he would behave better (I was wondering if he was acting up because it was pinching. This one didn't help ) I think the light color suits him though!      My little cheering section, Mom and Dad  My handsome boy!  That's it for this year, hopefully next year we'll have some under saddle pictures to show off!! |

| Wow...he sure is a handsome boy! No wonder hes kicking some horsey butt in halter...he is gorgeous...hes only 2 isnt he? You two look awesome together...a perfect match Congrats on a great first season....looking forward to next year!

| Thanks everyone! I'm super happy with him, and so happy I took the chance in buying him (I bought him online from a video!) You're right, Horselady, he is only 2, and every horse except for one in that halter class was older than he is He even earned his first half AQHA point in showmanship in August I can't wait to start riding him, I need to lose a serious amount of weight before I can get going with him. He's already had a few months under saddle with a friend of mine, but I want to be substantially lighter before I start riding, I don't want to mess up any joints! Lots to work on this winter! |
