Daughter's first Rgionals

I hesitated posting this because I am unable to post pics with my camera and computer, but I am quite proud of Kearstyn and wanted to share. She went to Pony club Regionals this past weekend and this was her first Competition ever. She entered in the 2' jumping class and entry level dressage Test 1 and Test 2.First day jumping she did awesome in the Equitation class and won the gold medal and in the speed round she went clear and unfortunately she temporarily forgot the jump off course and ended up with third(still awesome in Mom's eyes) Second Day was dressage she placed first in Test 1 and first in Test 2.Her team ended up winning Reserve championship on the first day.I really wanted to THANK sli92 for coming out Sunday and helping Kearstyn Sunday(I was scribbing)and I couldn't be there for her,Sarah you helped so much I was able to relax knowing that you were there for her.It meant alot to Kearstyn and I know she will remember this weekend for a long time.

Awesome ! It's too bad you missed the sale this weekend, but you had a more than adequate excuse ! It's so neat to watch your kid doing so well with horses . Was she on Dumpling?

Oh, I was curious, what is "scribbing"

AlbertaGirl ,it was pretty special for her to get such good results.Yes she was riding Dumpling he did really well for her.He certainly is not a real dressage horse, but they did their best.Scribeing (I think that is the proper sp)is to be the writer for the dressage judge. The judge dictates as the rider rides the test and the scriber does her best to keep up and put it all on paper.
