Horse Show Software

Last year, we held two horse shows here at our barn.. This year, we are holding a series of three shows... and they will be MTHJA rated classes.
I need to find a good horse show software - but the problem that I am having is that I cannot download one - which is what they all seem to be.
My computer in the barn office has no internet - so I just need one of the normal programs that come in a box that you put on your computer...
not one that comes from the internet that you have to pay a yearly subscription for...
An ideas? tips? suggestions?

I know a couple associations that just use the program Excel for keeping track.
You could also make a simple database in say MS Access to enter the info in and query later.
I do not know of any pre-made that you can buy specifically for horse shows. You could look in the classifieds of horse magazines- I think I have seen software listed in the back of them. maybe they have something.

Good Luck

I would try going to your local store, Circuit City or whoever sells software in your area. Ask them if you can look thru thier catalogue or if they could search there data base, quit likely they could order it for you.

I've created spreadsheets in Excel very easily that keep track of entries, class placings, daily highpoints and year end standings. It just takes a few hours of your time to get started and it makes the show day go so much smoother.

GottaRide: Could you send me an example of one of your spreadsheets? I wouldn't even know where to begin...
