Corn Starch

Ok, so I read an article and tried it today...Cornstarch and water for a detangler. I had those terrible mats in my mares in the pastures manes that everyone is always complaining about. Well, everyone always asks what to use to get them out.............Cornstarch and water! I tried it today, and it is AMAZING! Try it guys you will not believe it. Who would have thought!

Nothing scientific..just a teaspoonful or so to a sprayer bottle of water, not too much or it will clog the sprayer, or you can pour it on.......

Corn starch also works great when you clip your dogs toe nail too short and it starts bleeding

Just takes a dab of straight corn starch, no water needed.

I wonder if that would work on human hair??
Especially little kids, when you know, oops, when they get gum in their hair!!
What does it make the hair feel like? RB

When I showed dogs, we used to put on a paste of cornstarch and water, then blow dry them. It would make their long hair fluffy and straight.

Back when I was showing dairy cattle(holstiens) we made a paste of cornstarch and water, pretty thick and put on the white areas that didn't want to come clean, let it dry and brush off, worked really well to remove stains, have used it on horse's legs or stains before showing, also on buck rabbits before showing to remove stains.

Or for showing use a blush brush and brush cornstarch(or baby powder) on their whites(stockings etc) and they shine really white
