I wouldn't do that without the advice and supervision of a veterinarian.

Dawn is also great for cleaning jewelry! I put a couple drops of Dawn in a small bowl with warm water, and I drop my wedding rings in there for a couple of hours. Take them out and a quick rinse under water leaves them so nice and shiny!!

too bad I didn't see this thread earlier! Dawn was actually recommended to me to clean my new kitten from the clerk at the feed store. I was a little incredulous but from what you guys say, apparently it really does work

We also put a drop or two of Dawn in our flyspray! It helps keep those pesky bugs away too!
