Oster brand

Well washing to manure spots off my filly the other day{she's a real pig in her stall} Reminding me how much I dislike the Oster brand shampoo's!!!!!
Oh you can get them in all sort of fancy smells for different colored hair coats.
Have 2 different kinds. They do not lather up at all compared to ANY other shampoo I have used.I will never buy it again.Thought I'd try it as it came from a name that has been around a long time so the line of shampoo should be good........NOT!
Anyone else use it, what did you think?

I don't use Oster brand for white spots and stains. I use Orvus, it is a paste and comes in a big tub. I LOVE it, I have tw ofull grown paints and that's all I use on their white. I tried Oster and didn't like it.

Paintedpastures, didnt you know that all horses with white are pigs in there stalls Kinda like wearing a white shirt when you eat spagetti. You know you are going to get some on your shirt. I have the Oster Lanolin/Aloe shampoo, but for the whitening, never tried the Oster before. Didnt know they made one

I either use the Mane 'N Tail brand or Farnam. I don't like the Oster brand. I have to say I like there grooming tools though.

I use those brands frequently too. This was my first time trying Oster shampoosI figured they made good grooming products&clippers the shampoos should be good.Had shampoos for different colors of horses, including a blue shampoo for white horses. Well have one for white hair & also for the black/dark color hair.Neither one I liked only thing nice about them is they smell pretty, lol. ...BUt then that can just attract the bugs.
I have tried several different products this is truely one I dislike.I was often referred as the washrack queen when I showed my one mare who was 90% white. I consider myself lucky now when I have a 50/50 colored one to wash.
