Wipe

http://www.horse.com/Farnam-Wipe-Fly...ant-BUL20.html
Wipe fly protectant by Farnam.
You can buy this at your feed store or online.
It works great on flys and will kill ticks. Just wipe it on and go back about 5 minutes later and the tick is dead and will just come off. No more pulling ticks.

I would recommend this to everyone.

Rate 10 out of 10.

I have used Wipe for years and love it. It does its job.

Love it - I alternate between Wipe, Pyranha and TriTec, depending on the time of summer it is.

It says you apply it with an applicator, does this mean a spray bottle? or do you literally WIPE it on? Sorry for being so DAH!

Yes, just wipe it on with a cloth. They do have a spray that you can order.

Wipe

Just remember to test an inconspicuous area first. I had a horse react to this several years ago. Ended up with large burn stripes where I'd sprayed. Required a week of aloe treatments and stall rest before she could go back outside. All fly sprays should be spot-tested on your horses first. I didn't know that - no one had ever reacted before and yes, I forgot to read the fine print.

What is the main ingredient? Permethrin or Perythrins?? Aren't they all about the same just different surfactants? And of course everyone knows that these ingredients will kill cats

Isn't it permethrins that cause toxicity with cats , but pyrethrins are ok? (Of course either in large doses can be fatal to cats and dogs.)
