Thanks for the advice.

And I laugh every time I see your avatar!

I would have to say MTG as well. It smells like bacon or smoke or something but it helps hair grow. It also gets rid of any fungus that grows on horses as well. As soon as I see any fungus or hair falling out on any of my guys I douse them in it. It also is great to add into a soapy bath mixture in the summer... it really get's their coats shiny.

I think also Vitamin D?? I'm not sure but there is a vitamin for human hair growth that would work for horses too.

I don't know if you saw the post on another thread but I just had to tell you how cute your Avatar is - precious My paint has a very thin main and forelock also - his tail is super thick but I can only get his mane so long and I have to cut it because it's so straggly looking. I tried the MTG for awhile but it didn't make that much of a difference. I give all my horses Super 14 for their coats and it really works well.

I love the avatar too! It is not my picture...but it looks a lot like my son. I know I need to get her on a conditioner of some kind...that you put in the feed. Is that what super 14 is?
