A freind of mine used one of these on her lovley Pally paint filly

Her filly was 3 at the time (now 4 I think) and she was in training for some time for reining. As with the trend this lady spent HOURS conditioning and keeping her mane nice and LONG. I must say she looked great and her training was coming along rather well. This ball helped take some stree off of the mostly stall kept horse.

However one night the horse got it intangled in her mane the only thing they could do was chop her entire mane off... the owner was in tears, I was too but mine were due to laughter! Hers were not lol.

I'm getting one for Justin's mare-see what she thinks.
I like that recipe-might have to try it-as one of my mares will attack it and devour it very quickly. So buying one is way not cost effective.
A project for Justin and I lol

I figured out why the horses love them so much - they are pretty darn good!! I have to admit I tried Gem's yesterday when I bought it. It was peppermint flavor, my dad just kept looking at me funny in the car as he drove I kept licking it and saying "MMM... this is good" He was like, "Isn't that for your horse?" I just replied with, "Whatever is good for her, must be good for me!"

My horses would get annoyed with them as well. Seems hard to eat when its swinging around. I bought Pony Pops before and they are nice and hard, but all the horses looked like a sticky disaster. A friend of mine uses those 40lb tubs, pasture licks or something like that. full of vitamins and minerals. They still get sticky and it attracts flies though. Well, here in florida anything attracts flies

I just bought some off of horseloverz.com for $18.99, that's the cheapest I've seen them yet.

I'm sorry......I just have to have a chuckle everytime I see the title to this thread. That name is soooo funny. I know, childish, but it still makes me laugh.

I just got one for my boy yesterday when I went to Agway to pick up grain. $20.00, eh, what the heck. Well I woke up this morning to a very sticky, dirty, nosed boy this morning. Aparently he rolled after playing with his new top all night. It's ALL OVER his face too. I don't know how the heck he did it. But I got a good laugh this morning.

Well darn it, everyone elses horses liked them, but I bought three, and couldn't get any of the horses to eat them.
They do taste good, I bought the molasses ones, ....but not even one lick.

Okay, after weeks of seeing this heading everytime I surf the forum, would someone please start a new thread on another product!! As I am reading this I see that there are other intelligent charming folks whose minds head in the same direction mine does everytime I see poor Uncle Jimmy's name .
My DH about passed out when I told him the name of the horse treat. This thread reminds me of the SNL skit where a Mr. Pete Schwety is on NPR being intereviewed about his candy, which is ball shaped and named afeter himself

I had to come in here too and say I keep getting a kick out of seeing this thread everytime I visit the forum...... this is the first time I have read it (that I remember), but I might just have to get some of Uncle Jimmy's Hanging Balls just because I want someone to ask me the name of what i have hanging in my barn just to watch their mouth drop when they hear it....
