Consumer Review:

Pros: I tried this product because it was non-toxic. I found that it did repel mosquitos, but had little to no effect on biting flies and horse flies. It actually does have a pleasant smell, if you can stand the cedar oil... This is a good repellent for short trips to the barn, an afternoon ride, or any other short activity outside, if your interest is to repel mosquitos, which mine is...

Cons: The amount of spray necessary to repel pests causes you to run through the 16 oz. bottle fairly quickly. It goes on very wet, but you can rub it in for quicker drying. As I said before, it doesn't have much effect on the biting or other types of flies. People should read the label to ensure they do not have allergies to the ingredients, particularly cedar oil... It is water based, and fairly inneffective on flies, so this does not make a good all-over spray for your equine for all day pest control.

Would you recommend this to a friend?: Yes, for a natural mosquito repellent for humans!

Other comments: My product rating is higher than maybe it shold be, because I've been looking for so long for a mosquito repellent that would not be toxic to me and my children...

Overall Product rating: 7, although that may be generous...
