Sho-Glo?

Was just wondering if anyone else has used this product, and what they thought of it. Manna Pro makes this as well as the Max-E-Glo(Rice bran), and as far as I can tell there's not much difference. But please if I'm wrong, let me know. I have an approx. 19 year old TWH mare, that was really starting to show her age; looking dull, boney, and just plain older lookin. Since I; started using the Sho-Glo her coat has taken on quite a luster look to it and her over all look seems to be improving as well, not so boney lookin. I'd have to say, using this product has changed my view on all the extra supplements that are out there that people use, I used to just use the healthy coat, but didn't see a lot of difference, and boy was that expensive

personally, I think corn oil or coccasoya oil works just as well and is cheaper...but then I'm not familiar with the product your talking about...

Fat/weight builders and coat conditioners are the only suppliments I acctually have faith in...the rest can't realy be tested. But then who am I?

I tried it, along with about every other coat conditioning supplement on the market. I have to say, aside from curry, curry, curry, the best feed through coat shine & body condition formula I've ever used is as follows:

2-3 parts Cocosoya oil
1 part Flax seed (ground/powder)

Have also used Super-14 with 50/50 corn & olive oil when I didn't have any cocosoya on hand (sometimes I wait too long to re-order)

I have used Sho-Glo before, worked fairly well, but for some reason made my boy hot. I now use a handful of (Bale in a bag Alfalfa) once every day. Even when my guys need a bath there coats are always shinny.
