Product Review: Himalayan Salt Licks

Product Info -Himalayan Salt Lick

Manufacturer: Hilton Herbs

Product Type/Product purpose: Salt and mineral supplement

Price and Purchase info: $13.95; I got it at the local tack store, can also be bought online

Product Description - Pink colored salt lick, rich in all-natural trace minerals

Pros: My horses LOVE it! I bought one for each of them a few days ago, and they have gone wild for them, despite the fact that they each have a "traditional" pressed salt block in their stalls also. Very hard, very difficult for the horse to break off chunks. Also, rather than the salt being processed and then having minerals added back in, this product is completely natural and unprocessed, just as it comes out of the salt mines.

Cons: The price. $13.95 is quite pricey!

Would you recommend this to a friend?: Yes, definitely, it is very good for the horses and they love it.

Overall Product rating: 9

I have never heard anything about this, can you find a link for it and maybe a picture. I would be interested in trying it.

How did you hear about it

I found them at our local tack store, and just bought it on a whim. I love all natural products, and my horses went crazy for them.
Here is a link with more about them, and it directs you to a place to buy them in the US. Only $8 there, where they were $14 at the tack store!
