Price and Purchase info: $59.95 from www.smithbrothers.com I was lucky enough to buy mine at the local sales barn for half that price. The ones at SmithBrothers have a bellyband, mine do not.

- Product Description - Cool, breathable, 1,000 denier mesh. Bellyband protects midline from flies, and UV protection prevents bleaching. Low bias belly straps and hidden leg straps keep blanket in place. Fleece at withers prevents mane rubout.

Pros: Very tough and durable, fit well, stayed in place. Worked great for turnout. Sam wore his most of the summer.

Cons: I found that the stiffer material rubbed my sensitive, thin skinned mares shoulders, but the gelding was fine. I also liked the fact that they are available in closed front. My horses did tend to sweat a bit easier in them than without but the fly relief was worth it in my mind.

Would you recommend this to a friend?: Yes, I would.

Other comments: The model that I actually own does not have a belly band and is an open front. They were a closeout on last years style. But the basic sheet/material is the same.
