I do need to get these. I think that it will be a great addition to my arena when the hubby finishes building it. My daughter wants to learn and I think this route will be beneficial. Thanks for the review.

OK, I'm a dufus. I was picturing barrels that popped back up after you knocked them over.

Wouldn't that be convenient?

Actually they sorta do pop right back up. The bottom is weighted so when you hit them, the top kinda does a "weebles wobble but they don't fall down thing" and then spring back up. They also make a great desentizing tool because they spring and make some noise when they are popped up.

Hmm.

Canteringkids scratches her head thoughtfully and meanders off to design pop-up jump standards.

I'll still visit HT when I'm wealthy from my new patent!

The good news is that you can buy these at Dick's Sporting goods in the camping section, too. They market them as pop up garbage cans or laundry hampers for $25 a piece, FAR cheaper than buying them as pop-up barrels. I can't believe what they charge for them. I guess they can only charge what people are willing to pay..
