Nutrena Loyall Dog Food

Manufacturer: Nutrena
Model Name: Loyall Lamb and Rice Adult Formula
Producy Type/Purpose: Dry Dog Food
Price and Purchase Info: $27.70 per 40lb bag/Local Feed Store

Product Description

Pros:
Great dry food. Comes in a reclosable bag. I was recommended the food by my feed supplier after complaining about my lab losing his hair and constantly itching. I have had the vet out before, $125 later, antibiotics and a shot of Depo Medrol (sp?) he was still itching. So I figured it was worth a try. The guy said he had a lab that every summer lost all of it's hair so he switched dog foods to this and to date this summer his lab still had her hair. So two months ago I switched my dogs over to the Loyall Lamb and Rice. Happy to report my lab has regrown his coat, my great dane has put on weight. My boxers are easy keepers so they really don't care what they eat!
I would greatly recommend this to anyone that is having issues with their dogs and have tried everything else. I tried the really expensive foods, the natural holistic ones and everything else. I was at my wits end but this worked for me. It is a 23% protein 14% fat. According to the label I actually feed less than the other ones that I was feeding, I assume due to the higher fat content.
Would recommend to a friend or foe.
Overall Rating: 9

Cons: Really have not come up with any except that I have to go to the feed store to get it instead of the local petstore which is closer.

It is good food. The kennel I work at feeds it to all of their British Labs.

In fact if you look at the puppy packs that's our "Powder" the white puppy holding the sample bag in her mouth.

Our "Buster" is also in the pamplet for one of the formulas.
