December Photo Contest!

Season's Greetings everyone!

I'm in charge of this month's photo contest. The categories are:

Wildlife - These pictures must be taken of an animal in the wild - no zoo pictures or anything like that! Show me what native creatures live and lurk in your backyards! You may post wildlife pictures that were taken at any time this year, doesn't have to be just December.

A Very Horsey Christmas - Show me how you and your horses are getting into the holiday spirit. Did you decorate the horse barn or dress up your horses? Or perhaps you got the best horsey present for Christmas. Be creative with category!

2008 Babies 1st Christmas - Just as the category states. Puppy, kitten, foal, calf, kids etc... Show me the amazement and wonder as they experience thier first snow fall, or as they check out the Christmas decorations. Again, be creative!

Please clearly state what category you are entering your pictures into! Thanks!

For the Wildlife Category -- both of these were taken from my house.

My back yard....Whitetail deer foraging for food during a snowstorm.

My front yard ... Flock of Canadian Geese that called our pond "home" for a few weeks.

Wildlife

A wolf in the stubble field across the road from our house. First time we'd seen a wolf up here.
