Grateful Heart..Non-Equine but with the Equine..if that makes sense..
This is me and my s-father on one of our old horses-I was only 6 or 7 at the time...I am ever so grateful to have learned all I did from him..He taught me everything I know about horses...sadly he passed this past January 30,08..(RIP Rex 1951-2008) only 56 yrs old..Always loved

The 2 we saved...Gracie n Henry enjoying their meal..they're ever so grateful as are we to have found them in time

9 days after Gracie n Henry were saved...my daughter,Alexis',first encounter with a very shy Gracie...at first I didn't know what Alexis was doing..but as I got closer..I heard the ending..."AMEN" She was praying for and with Gracie..she has prayed for them every evening since their arrival to our barn...She even prays for the man who threatened to take their life..She told the man she was going to pray for him at night too,the day we picked them up.. lil bitty girl with a very big heart

My husband Jay and Henry..just finished a good short ride together and hubby's not really the horseridin type..he is so attached to Henry though and was so proud that he did so good with him...He was hugging and loving all over Henry..it was so sweet..finally the horse sense is seepin in

Grateful Heart..
Gracie..she is coming around quite nicely..still somewhat shy,not too bad anymore..but I see the sparkle in her eye has returned and I don't think she's given up hope just yet..now that she's found a pretty decent life so far

Both...Grateful and Tack in Action
Henry with his boy..they seem to click great together,for which we are grateful..very grateful for and they ride great together too..Henry actually likes to work even at his age-he didn't seem as dull and listless as he does when he isn't tacked up anyway..he perks right up when he gets saddled up!!

Tack in Action..
This was a scary moment in time for us..this was my husbands friend (inexperienced one at that) on Big Mama.. well..it didn't go too well..hence the reason she is getting "miles" put on her.. as well as consistent groundwork.. so hopefully this won't happen again.. because I am not a very confident rider.. and have not been able to ride her much since, just the guy who is training her..well I have tried..but lasted 10-20 min tops,then confidence level dropped..so let him take back over before a disaster did.. but here's the scary tack in action shot with the friend of my husband.

Grateful Heart..
Chance..the goofiest guy on the farm..but he probally has the biggest heart of all of the 4.. he was headin to the sale barn when we found him,so I know he's grateful to be here..and we're so grateful for him
