Equine and Non-Equine.... My son who "USED" to be terrified of riding a horse..well..

These photos were taken just the other day of my oldest of 5 kids..our oldest son-our 12 year old..also the one who was what he called "bucked"(the horse tripped and he lost balance and fell from the saddle to the ground,it was nothing bad at all and it was at a walk) from our appy gelding back 4 yrs ago and said he'd never ride again ever..he has NEVER rode again since EVER..not even letting us lead like we do the others..

Well my husband and I were cleaning the stalls out after we turned the horses out in the smaller lot and the kids were just laughing their little butts off ... so Jay (hubby) says go see what they are cracking up about.. and I did.... OMG!!! This is what I found and it was priceless to me

My heart melted..he FINALLY swallowed his pride..

I hollared at my hubby to come look at his son!! And Jay turned white as a ghost!!

Here is another...

Then Daddy said "Enough, bring her back up to the barn" and Junior did and he even somehow got her to "park out" for him I think he's better than me!!

I am so proud of him,he finally swallowed his pride and pushed aside his fears of riding-now he would brush a horse or pet them all day long..but riding was different!! Now he's ready for more!! So...I HAVE to go by helmets quickly!!

My Baby's Pics

Here's the baby when he was only about 2 months old. He wouldn't let us touch him at that point, but stood still for photos.
SageBabyPic.jpg
And then a pic of him for his APHA papers when he was 2 years old, so he's wet. I still can't find any markings on him. But I did finally find some on his neck under the mane and on his butt.

Oh here are a couple of my favourite summer photo's as well.
Little Bailey this was the last time I really saw him after I sold him...

Belle looking so cute with her itchies... & one of my all time favourite photos.

Chevy running and playing in a thunderstorm.

Chevy playing with the gang just after branding.

Iggy being down right silly!

Libby modeling Chic's roses

Favourite Summer Picture Non-equine (This was taken when we brought the horses up north to there home! and this little calf was so curious and wanted to get to the horses and me so bad!)
