Hi everyone! I'm judging this month's photo contest. Here are the categories:

#1) Deck the Halls! Show me your holiday decorations, trees, lights, etc. Christmas parade pics also go here.

#2) Let it Snow I want to see your horses enjoying the snowy landscapes.

#3) All I want for Christmas Show me what you bought (and got!) for Christmas. Did Polly the Pony get a new jolly ball? Take a pic of her with her new toy.

#4) I'll Be Home For Christmas Missing someone for the holidays? Post a pic of you and your absent loved ones together.

This is Cinnamon (picture taken by Bonnie) filly born in April, she is my early Christmas present...I know we didn't need another horse...but I just fell in love with her..she's different for an appy....and we're going to go get her Tuesday! Here's her pedigree below:

I have to admit Christmas is my very favorite holiday!

Santa loves Carson....before she started opening her gifts!

My favorite gifts ever, my stall signs for our new barn and my stable sign in loving memory of my dearest first mare, Melody...it was all a wonderful surprise!

Think I got the hang of the picture issue.

Here is a picture that I wanted to share of my 4 yr old gelding, and my daughters 26 yr old Welsh pony from last year. We turned them out in a field to let them let loose some steam. You can tell they really don't like each other

Hmm, no snow in Fla., can't open presents yet....I guess I'll just have to submit a 'missing loved one' pic

I'ts not a flattering picture, but still one of my fav's. I just got my wisdom teeth taken out so I looked like a chipmunk, and my wonderful husband brought me flowers when he got home from work.

Ugh! I really miss him when he works out of town for this long (a year in April). Although I am fortunate enough to see him a couple times a month.
OK, here goes....don't laugh

It's hard to smile with a mouth full of cotton!

And the ones I miss the most these days are my kids. They are both in college. They are homebodies (and both have a boy/girl friend here), so one comes home every weekend and the other every other weekend. But, it's just not the same around here without them nearby. I actually took my daughter shopping with me last weekend--with my cell phone. I took pictures of things along the way and got her advice. I went into PetCo and took pictures of the puppies so we could decide which was the cutest.

I even took pictures of Christmas trees to get her approval before we cut one down. We're waiting for her finals to be over so she can be home to help decorate it. My son doesn't think so deeply about such things, but he approved the tree too. The Chex Mix won't be made until he's done with finals.

These are my favorite pictures of them when they were little. I took their pictures every year--and they're all up on the wall.
