September Photo Contest

This month we have a contest to show off your photography skills!

Unusual Angles: Do you ever get bored with the rectangle you're given to photograph with? Do you ever turn the camera upside down? Or up over your head to see above the crowd? Or underneath something to get an unusual shot? Post your unusual angles that have equine or farm subject matter.

Hey, what's this setting for? How many of us just set the camera to its basic everyday automatic setting, and never use anything else? (I know I tend to!) With many modern cameras, you can change the ISO speed (that 100, 200, 400 stuff), the shutter speed, and other things. Or choose options like Sepia (black & white). Try playing with some of these unusual settings around the barn or farm, and post your best stuff.

Think Outside the Box: As if the other two topics weren't unusual enough, "think outside the box" for this one - which means to try posting something that wouldn't normally follow the rules. Maybe you're thinking outside the box as a photographer? Or maybe you've got a critter likes to think outside of its box? Or a family member? If I give you too many guidelines, then it's not thinking outside the box is it?

SETTINGS
I'm not sure if this qualifies since it's not horses but this was my first time using the zoom setting on my very first camera.

ANGLES

THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX
Does thinking inside the box count?
