Yes, yes of course! We were really busy at the beginning of the year! What happened everyone? It's so nice and warm outside!! Those horses are just striking pose after pose waiting on you to come out there and catch 'em!!

I am in the same boat, Noni - I wanted to take a look at last years calendar to see what exactly is wanted, but the link doesn't work.

It sure is a neat idea, doing a calendar every year - I love it.

Click on "view calendar pages" on the bottom left to see each month.

The key things we're looking for are listed in the calendar guidelines that is linked to in the posts above. The most common problems we see are photos that are out of focus and photos with unattractive backgrounds.

I'll include a few of my favorites from last year's calendar right here as well.

Thanks for posting the link to the 2007 calander Annie - beautiful shots..
I did notice all of the horses were naked - i.e. no tack - will this be what you are looking for this year?

Thanks, Annie. I'll see what I can come up with. My backgrounds are limited; desert browns and arenas...but maybe I can find a good shot for submission anyway.

The guidelines state that there can be no people in the shots so most people catch the horses without the tack on. There are a few with tack on, i.e. doyle82's close up has the bridle on, jcarnahan's horse has a bridle on, Coppysgirl's close up has a bridle on, AJrides submitted a photo of a completely harnassed pair of horses, Taking Flight's horse has a bridle on, and muttduck's horse has a bridle on. So mainly there are just bridled horses but we have had some entries that were saddled horses but I guess they didn't make the first cut.
