I have a question...

My digital camera doesn't take pics wider than they are tall, and I'm still pretty new a using photo shop, is there anyone that can tell me how to fix them so they are right or anyone I can send them too that can fix them??

I've put many more pics up for everyone to see! If you have already entered your photos and they aren't already there then they are probably too small. If you have any questions please feel free to pm me!

When we say "wider than tall" we mean that the orientation of the photo should be horizontal or "landscape". Not, vertical or "portrait". However, as long as the photo is high enough quality and it could be cropped to be an 8" x 10" photo (with the 10" side being the width), it's fine. Please don't crop the photos before you send them in, we'll just make that assessment once they arrive.

Does that make sense?

Very exciting! I have some good ideas, but until the ice melts away my horses will be staying in the barn.

Remember everyone: If you see us posting new photos but you don't see yours being posted MOST LIKELY it is because they are too small. If you think yours were too small and you need to know so that you can resize them and resend them please pm one of the calendar helpers to find out.

Thanks!

Okay I'll have to keep editing this to remember who's are who's. Over all there are so many excellent pictures. You judges are going to have a hard time picking.

Almost_mozarts- Horse with the frozen Berries. I love that one.

Muttduck- Foal running in field

TrailriderJo - Last picture is really nice. Excellent lanscape in all pictures

The buckskin Quarter-Arab

Like I said, too many great photos.

Why yes!! I have several!!
Off the top of my head, (and not counting my own ) I like:

1st one, by mrebele (snow covered Belgian and pal)

the second of DandeeQH's (yawning foal)

the 5th one from Trailrider Jo, (herd on the hilltop)

the 6th one from Trailrider Jo, (three by the pond)

the 4th one from Doyle (shot of the eyes at a show.)

There are some more really good ones in there I didn't mention, too!!

(edited to correct an error.)

Since I've started, I've seen SO MANY photos it's unbelievable! It's REALLY HARD for me to decide which ones I like best! My favorites so far are the first one submitted by Almost Mozart, the fourth one submitted by dandeeqh, the second one submitted by Trailrider Jo, the one submitted by Goldleaves and both of the pics that nomeanjean submiitted.

BUT MY ALLTIME FAVORITES ARE:

(Drum roll please)

All of the pics of Muttduck's minis! That baby has stole my heart.

I love all of the pics and I know there are alot more to come!!!

All the credit for my cute little photography subjects goes to Mardi Gras Miniatures.

I do morning chores in her barn, and she allows me to play with my camera in her fields. They are very fun to photograph!
