Iâ€™ll be your photo contest judge this monthâ€¦

This is the month with Valentines Day, so your categories areâ€¦..

1) Equine: Photos that show the love you and your horse(s) share
2) Non Equine: Human couples photos (posing for the camera)

Here in Alberta we also have a stat holiday in February called Family Day. Soâ€¦

3) Non Equine: I want to see your family fun photos
4) Equine: Trail riding photos with your equine family

And last category is:
5) Show us your Valentines Day related craft or artwork

Bring on the photos!!

Well, here's one for equine x human love. Me and my first colt, lucky!

I'll enter this one under equine x human love too.... Even though it was kinda a love hate relationship. Hubby LOVED the donkey, but the donkey didn't love the ridding so much and he was thrown about 30 sec. after the pic!

These next two are for equine family:

First the home made jumping contest and horse camp...
Me as a ugly child in the woods with my first mule Jerry..

and the last one for now, brad when he was younger, giving niece hannah her first pony ride...

You have to bare with me, these are pics of pics so they aren't the best quality.

This is me and my arabian stallion, rohan, last summer. I was teaching him some tricks, like bow, and count, and obviously "shake hands" LOL

I was sitting in the pasture taking picture of the other horses when Timber came over and gave me a REAL kiss...

A couple more pics.

This was the love of my life! Boomer was my first horse. He was a rescue, on his way to slaughter for being a dangerous animal... Turned out he just needed someone to understand him. (and his moods! lol) I lost him 2 years ago to colic.

He was only 13 when he died, but i wouldn't trade those years for anything... I was lucky enough to be able to have his full brother, who is Sam, in my previous pics.
