June Photo Contest Winners!

There were so many great entries this month! I mean, really amazing! It was so tough to pick winners, as they were all wonderful. It's not difficult to take great pictures when the subject matter is our horses and other critters...

Without further ado, here are this month's winners:

Gimme Face - Equine

First place goes to Divinemisselle's Gandalf. He portrays all that I imagine a mustang to be, he is beauty, strength and grace.

Second place goes to TNFillyâ€™s colt, Trigger. Not only is this the sweetest face ever, the entire picture is just beautiful!

Third place goes to Illiniequine's Snickers. I just can't stop looking at this picture! I love the mane, of course, and the colors are just so brilliant and crisp.

HoosierSuz is the recipient of the Honorable Mention in this category for her line-up of equine faces.

Gimme Face - Non Equine

First place goes to Bojo's Greta.

Second place goes to EquineLaw's Molly, for her "Sleepy, dog days of summer" face.

Third place goes to Jules1962's little squirrel's "Somebody please help me" face.

Honorable mention goes to WYJumper's Blizzard. This one was definitely a toss-up between Gimme Face and Mischevious Behavior! What is Blizzard really up to?

Kick Up Your Heels! - Equine

First place goes to Snickers' mustang mares. This picture has such wonderful colors, and it has almost a "painting" quality to it.

Second place goes to Connie2u's weanling filly.

Third place goes to Rodeobrat's Smokey, who looks like he's having a terrific time!

And, an Honorable Mention goes to Sunny's paint stallion. Look at him go!

There weren't too many Non-equine entries for this category. I do love these...

Kick Up Your Heels! - Non-equine

First place goes to QuaterCowGirl's bull calves, hoofin' it!

Second place goes to Littonian's Jack Russell Terrier, Zues. I think this was an entry for the equine category, but I thought Zues deserved recognition. He's really flying! (He's a perfect match to our JRT, Luka!

)

Mischevious Behavior - Equine

First place goes to Range's super sneaky Jack, casing the tack room. I love everything about this picture. The colors are great, and it's "Where's Jack?" quality gives you a challenge...

Second place goes to Illiniequine's J.R. and Harley, who are being so helpful, waxing the car with muddy noses!

Third place goes to Snickers' Tuff, who's helping himself to some extra feed!

And, an Honorable Mention goes to Gingerfleguel's appy, who seems to be the lookout for something much bigger that's happening on the other side of the barn!

Mischevious Behavior - Non-equine

First place goes to bfoshee's MonsterHead. When cats are being mischevious, their eyes get that sort of weird "mirrored" quality...

Second place goes to OSUJillyBean's Lucy, who's "helping" to clean out the fish tank.

Third place goes to Rudy's kitty, Hooch, who has decided that his very presence would make the Christmas tree so much more lovely...

Honorable mention for this category goes to Treasure1's Zelda the goat.

And, last but not least, I added a category. The new category is:

Mischevious Behavior - HUMANS!

First place goes to Chance for being such a good boy and putting up with his very mischevious humans...

Second place goes to Divinemisselle for capturing this very mischevious human, riding his horse in the Fire Department!

I really enjoyed these pictures.
They are all wonderful!

Thought that rear end looked kinda familiar for a moment.
It might have one of my stinkers instead of Tuff helping himself to some extra feed!
