DECEMBER Photo Contest

I will be judging these on creativity, clarity, color, (and as always) the WOW factor...

WINTER WONDERLAND... Please show off your home, your stable, or any other landscape shot, that shows winter in your area.

DECK THE STALLS... I would like to see how you decorate the barn, the stalls, fencelines, gates, ANYTHING NOT IN YOUR HOME, in traditional holiday spirit... (You can include your horsey if he/she is decorated for the holidays, too.)

HERE WE COME A CAROLING... I would like to see friends and family celebrating the holidays in your usual traditions...

FROSTY THE SNOWMAN... In honor of those of you in snowy weather... Show your photos of your most original snowmen... For those of you in dreadful FL, sand can be substituted for the snow...

And it would not be complete without:

ATTACK OF THE BOWS! Everyone has done it... The bow on the present gets torn off and placed on someone (or something's) head... This one goes out to all of the victims of the Evil Bow Planters!

THIS CONTEST WILL END NEW YEAR'S DAY.

Sorry I have one more of the little friendly pests that I have roaming around my farm on a daily basis! I tried to make it smaller but I cant seem to figure it out...sorry!

Who says North Texas can't be a "Winter Wonderland"? Here's my submissions for that category...

This is our pony barn before we restored it to house Dynamite, Minnie, feed and my hubby's workshop...

And, my son (with Grampy) after a recent "Attack of the Bows"!

Heres one for a Winter Wonderland...we feed about 20 deer up here in ontario and these are a few of the babies that lost their mothers during hunting season!

Here's two for Winter Wonderland -- taken during my ride today:

The first is my voice student and riding instructor, Marja, on her OTTB Miss Molasses posing in front of the Back Harbour (if that makes sense!)

The second shows Marja and Miss M on the trail -- you can see the ears of the horse I'm riding, Pyro. It's hard taking photos from horseback!
