| August photo contest Sorry for the delay in starting this. I will be judging the August photo contest and I hope you like the topics I have chosen. I thought It would be a great opportunity to show off some creativity. So, here we go and have fun  Blast from the past - (Equine and non equine) Have a pic of you or a family member and your pet from the dino days? Lets see some rustic or should I say rusty  pics from days gone byTrue Love - Got a heartwarming pic that shows a special bond between pet's or you and your pet? Caught on camera- Does your horse think he can fly? Is he a contortionist? Catch that silly moment on camera Well, thats all folks.....have some fun and go get those pics |

| Not sure where to put this first pic; either true love or blast from the past.  This is me and my first horse Dandy Sandy. It was taken approx. 16-17 years ago. And we had a special bond that I haven't been able to replace  Next picture is true love:  Pumpkin and Bob Caught on film:

| Caught on tape  This Bonita at 3 months old thinking she is Silver in the Lone Ranger. Of course, she promptly fell to her side after doing this stunt and I had to run out inot the pasture to make sure she was okay.

| No Laughing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG !! I so cannot believe I am posting these pics !! I am 39 now ...... This is a picture of me, at my first horse show with my first mare (Lady) earning my first ribbon.........This pic is a day of firsts for me !!!!!!!!!!  At another show. This mare lived until she was 32 !!  My first "real" show horse. APHA gelding. RIP Sugar !! You were a great first show horse !!! We got lots of APHA points together !!! Miss the 4H days !!  Caught on tape.....

| Blast From The Past - Equine I have 2 for the Blast from the Past - Equine category: First, me and my Dad before riding in a local parade. I'm riding my first horse, Heidi, an Appy mare, and my Dad's horse, Domino, was a Grade mare that we rescued. Heidi was the best first horse I could have ever asked for, and we were inseparable! She and I were both 20 at the time this picture was taken in 1985.  Second is me with Heidi's filly, Comanche. Heidi was bred when we bought her, so Comanche was my first (and so far only) experience dealing with a foal. She was such a sweetheart and used to love to follow me around like a puppy dog! This picture was taken in 1984.
