Adding to my flock *pics

I currently have a male sebastopol goose and a female muscovy. Had not been having any luck finding a female mate for the goose because most people want to sell them as pairs. My husband found any add for a male and two female sebastopols and a male muscovy within 45 mins of where we live! I am going to pick them up tomorrow and I can't wait. My muscovy is currently sitting her second batch of infertile eggs, and my goose follows the goats around, as that is his "flock". It is probably a good thing I don't know how to pull the horse trailer, because he has a walker for sale too. That would put my poor hubby over the edge, so I have promised to be good. I will post pics once everybody has settled in.

I got the geese today. While driving home with them in the back, white feathers kept floating past my face. I felt like I was in a Forest Gump movie. My lonely guy was very excited to see some companions. He led the newcomers around as though giving them the tour. The muscovy tends to stay in the barn and is very timid. He is almost twice the size of my female. I could not get a pic of her because she will not come off her eggs.

I don't "know" geese, so haven't heard of Sebastopols. I take it their feathers are supposed to look like they've had a really bad night? They are neat looking as are the Muscovies. Maybe now your female will have a good reason to sit.
