So, he said NO MORE ANIMALS O__O

** UPDATE ON HOW HONEY TOOK IT **

lol, he comes home, sees piggy on table, turns around and walks back out the door, gets in MY Subi and drives away....... <.< I think I really made him mad this time >.> I hope he brings my car back, he can have the truck

Ok, so I was looking a Piggies....I want an Adasinian or Peruvian...but my honey says " I forbid you from getting anymore animals til we get rid of some "
................................... WELL... I do NOT like to be told what to do, nor do I like being " forbidden " to do something..... SO WITH GREAT PLEASURE AND AN EVIL GRIN, allow me to entroduce my newest baby, Vaux, the Piggy.

So I went to the store to pick up some dog food....and this lady was carrying around a wood box, I looked in and saw some piggies and she asked if I wanted them...I was like, uh, I don't know, I'm not really allowed to have anymore pets. She looked angry and said fine. I walk away to grab from kitty food for the barn kitties and come back to the box full if piggies in my cart and no lady to be seen I was like wtf did I do?! So I took them out with me and they were full of urine, and smelled something awful. I took them home, and clippered them ( they were long haired and discusting ) O.O the female has these huge absesses all over her neck. Call the vet/boss/friend to come over and have a look and continue to shave the male... Same on him.

Poor tihngs, we couldn't save them ,but this little one, aside from being stained yellow and have some URI, she is going oth ave a very happy life.

She is very cute, but I was so upset and angry that some one would do such an awful cruel thing.

She really just put them in your cart and vanished? What a witch. Poor little things. Glad they are in capable hands now, and how can hubby say "No" to such a sad story and cute little face?

I don't understand people just "dumping" pets.

I'm glad that you gave one of them a good home and I bet your husband won't even notice it's in the house.

I know! That's what I was thinking. I was P***ed, I mean, there are animals shelters all over... AND this lady needs to pay for what she did to those poor things. I had to give that poor little thing 4 bathes to get all the nasty stuff out of her coat and she STILL stinks. I gave her an apple and she geeked out and torn it apart!

Hehe, we'll see what he says when he gets home..... It's not my fault this time I kept the box and I have whitnesses to proove I'm not lieing.

I love little piggies. I had one and so miss him. His name was LOUIE and when I called his name, he would squeak real loud. Guinea Pigs get vit C deficincy easily, either put 1/2 and 1/2 OJ in his water or give him a 1/2 orange a couple times a week. The orange is easier b/c the OJ will spoil. Honey nut cherrios and lettuce but EASY on the lettuce, it casues the runs and they dehydrate VERY easy. Have some alf cubes or hay hanging around, love that too. Also helps ease their chewing urges.

Enjoy !!!

Green peppers ?? Wow. Sounds like your piggie is going to be the healthiest piggie there is. He found the right person to give him a home.

Can't wait for the update when hubby comes home !!

Oh I grow them in the garden....plus I LOVE them ^.^

I'm I'm still alive I think he's just jealous cause I take better care of our companions then I do him. The dog gets ground steak and he gets pasta. He'll get over it.

It is always easier to get forgivness than permission, I know that from getting my dog, four parrots and three finches. I rescued most of my pets too. Hubby gave up and bought me the horse for my 25th wedding aniversary, they get over it!

Poor things

The lady was in a store with a box of guinie pigs? I'd think that would be some sort of violation that the FDA would have a fit about.? I'm glad you have one, shé'll or HE will have a wonderful home with you.

My mom said the same thing as your hubby 5 animals ago, and now we have 4 cats, 2 dogs and 3 horses

Aww, she looks so cute and sweet! And I can't believe that woman just dumped them, those poor little things. Atleast you got to the cute little girlie in time.

Im really bad about bringing animals home too! Growing up I was always bringing in new critters, from little lizards and snakes to dogs and cats. Figures now that I would own a turtle, 2 snakes, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 mice and 5 horses. Oh and lets not forget about the tadpoles I decided to raise too. At least those are only temporary though I guess.
