surprise surprise

I was out of town for the weekend and came home to 4 more baby bunnies. i dont know what im going to do, my fiance is gonna be sooooooo mad, he didnt take the first litter all that good, now there are more. Hopefully we wont have trouble selling them. I guess i cant let them out together anymore even if i AM watching them, they must be sneaky little buggers. The momma had babies 6 wks ago, and about a week after i let her out witht the daddy and was watching to make sure i wouldnt get anymore babies, well i guess i missed somethingand now there are 4 more, that was the only timeshe was out since the babies cause shes been soooo crabby!!! Guess now i know why. I took the older babies out of the cage, they are 6 wks now, so they should be ok on their own right?!?!?!?!!??? It was kind of interesting, my son went back to feed the bunnes when we got back to home, and he comes ruinning,"mom she had another baby!" I said our kidding me right? hes like no mom she had another baby, i really didnt believe him, well i went back and we endede up finding 4 throughout the cage. Anyone know the price of spying a bunny???????

It takes about 3 seconds for a Buck to breed a Doe. You could have turned your back and sneezed and it could have happened. You have to keep them apart all the time for no bunnies.

It would be much harder to spay a female then to nueter a male and I have checked on the nueter and the vets here want about 85.00 and they give the rabbit a 50/50 chance to make it through the surgery I have decided to just keep mine in seperate yards.

Really? I've never heard of a bunny dying from a surgery. and yes it's easier to neuter the male.

Personally, I would get two different cages, and keep them apart.
