I want a bunny! FOUND ONE! Pic ADDED!

I am currently looking for a bunny, preferably younger.
Around here, its like finding a needle in a hay stack.
I have looked everywhere!!

I do not intend on driving far distances..
Does ANYONE know any breeders in the IL area?

I would really like a flop eared, but im not picky.
Please let me know.

I'm not from that area so can't help you in your search for breeders but good luck in your hunt and me along with the other HT'ers will be expecting to see lots of bunny pics when you get one.

What about pet stores in your area? around here almost every pet store has bunnies for sale.

Around here bunnies are a dime a dozen. Usually they are free at humane societies. Another good place to look is county fairs. Many people put up signs that they have bunnies for sale in the agricultural buildings.

Those rabbits listed are the same as the ones on petfinder.
But thank you for your help.

I wish this wasn't so difficult.

Do you have a 4H group in your area? One of the leaders may know of a bunny breeder.

Many rescues will help with transportation if they think you will make a good adopter.

Guess what!
I found one finally!

I think its a boy, I wasn't to concerned about the gender.
He is soooo cute.
He is a dwarf, but I guess a miniature dwarf?
So he only gets about 2-3 pounds.

I gotta go to work here soon, I don't have time to put pictures up, but when I get home I will!

Male bunnies get that male cat smell, and they spray like a cat too. You'll want to get him neutered. Congratulations on th ebunny though, got a name for him? Other than Mr. Bunny.

yeah my sisters unneutured male bunny is terrible if he doesn't want to be touched he'll turn and buck and pee at you and its disgusting I actually find it smells worse then male cat urine he's a dwarf was told purebred but I think he's got something else in there because he's bigger then your typical dwarf and he's got long ears rather then the short cute ones you see in purebreds
