Snake killed my baby bunny
I just had a horrible experience, we had a baby bunny that would be 3weeks old tomorrow that a big gopher snake just killed!!!!
It was starting to storm so I went out on the front porch where we keep them and saw the snake sqeezing him and screamed and kicked at him and pulled the little bunny out and tried to revive him but I was to late  My 9yo daughter was with me also. In the middle of this happening a major microburst hit (like a tornado) while I was still trying to revive the baby and get the snake out of the pen and comfort my daughter. I not 5min before all this had been sitting on the porch with him in my lap letting him eat his first green grass and loving on him. I am kicking myself for not seeing the snake as he had to be lurking close when I went inside. I feel like I let my daughter and momma bunny down for letting this happen! RIP our little baby |

I am so sorry. That is one reason why I HATE snakes. Hopefully it wont get any other bunnies.

Oh believe me my daughter is now hating snakes. Unfortunatley this was the only one born to momma. She is an older doe that we took as a rescue and when we took in daddy (also a rescue ) he escaped the pen and got to her when she was running in the front yard.

Aww I'm so sorry. Wow, that snake had a lot of audacity...even around here the snakes don't wander onto porches.

That had to have been horrible to witness and listen to. I got goose bumps just thinking about it.
