Red face Hummingbird

Just had to show this picture I took this evening. I was so close that I could here the thing actually humming. It sounded like one of those large black and yellow bees.

Beautiful Emerald Green and looks maybe female. I have 5 that visit and I just love watching them. I have one white ring neck male that has actually hovered at about 4 feet from my face. They are beautiful and tuely one of the more unique of God's Little Creatures.

So beautiful.I wish i had gotten pics of my hummers before i had to "leave".Thats one thing i miss the most was my flower garden and just sitting and watching the hummers. They are amazing, beautiful creatures.Im crazy about them just as much as im crazy for horses.Wonder where i got the love for hummers from! My mommy, she is crazy about them too..I cannot wait to find my own home to make a flower bed and attract more hummers.
