Look whats in my back yard today!!

Today we had quite a few visitors. They are beautiful too! They came in pairs. here is the first pair, a couple of Turkey Vultures...They were out sunning their wings for us.

The second couple were Bald Eagles, Boy are they beautiful, First one came in...

Then came his or her mate...

What an eventful day!!!Can't wait to see what will show up Tommorow!!!

The Eagle pics are gorgeous. Don't let them vultures fool ya !! I hit one on the road one day - over $500 in damages to my F250 (needed new grill, wdshield wipers, wdshd) He went up and over and flopped in teh back of my truck then died. I felt bad, but he just had to have that last bite of road kill Can you imagine if I was in a car !!!

Oh yeah, I needed some new undergarments too

Thumbs up funny!!!

We have a pair of Hawks and a pair of Owls that I see regularly around my house. Love the eagles tho!! Used to have a nest where I used to live and had babies 2 yrs in a row. Watched Mommy teach them how to fly!

Lucky you!! Those eagles can be so impressive. I had one swoop at me in a car once..... or the wind took him - I don't know, but MAN that wing spread is HUGE!!

That is awesome! We have some that nest on the river. There is also a golden eagle that we have seen a few times.

Depending on where you are, you can report your sighting. They like to keep up with the bald eagles progress around here. THey are coming back

Our DNR around here really stinks and I have no reason to call on them, they are as bad as the cops in this town. I would rather post it on here and have people enjoy them as I am.

I love eagles. I am lucky enough to have Wedge Tailed Eagles here. They are very large. I stop and pull dead roos off to the side of the road as often the eagles get killed when feeding on them.
