Should I worry about this? (about a bunny)

So my bunny managed to somehow get access to one of those Twizzler licorice candies. She ate about 5" of it before I managed to get the rest out of her mouth.

Are Twizzlers....harmful to rabbits?? She seems to be acting alright. In fact, she looks pretty darn proud of herself

(But you shoulda seen how she inhaled that thing! She went crazy for it!)

Keep a very close eye on her and her poops; if they start to look strange (small, nonexistant, etc) get her to a rabbit savvy vet immediately. Gastrointestinal upsets are usually fatal for rabbits.

What are the ingredients in a twizzler? Maybe you could google the ingredients and "rabbit" and see what it says.

I'm a firm believer that there needs to be a site with a list of all the weird food things that are harmful to pets.

I don't think it will bind her up. She didn't really eat that much. It would be different if she had eaten several. It's mostly sugar. I don't know it might give her loose stools so watch for her poops don't stick to her fur.
