Meet King George

He/she moved in the barn a couple of weeks ago but was nice enough to leave the skin behind for a fair warning. I am a snake phobic, but I prefer a king snake that eats the venomous ones!! Oh, and the mice are GONE .

Sorry for the picture size

OMG, I would totally myself I saw him !! I don't mind snakes either, esp. the nonvenomous ones that help with the mice/rat population. He definatly has found a good home and well fed ..... He is huge <and beautiful> What a face too !!!

In the summer time I find black snakes in my barn eating the frogs. I have the food chain going in my barn ...... Frogs eat the bugs and the snakes eat the frogs.

I don't bother them and they don't both me ........ Probly what you do with King George !!!

Whoa.. he's a big one! I'm not really a huge fan of snakes either, but I don't mind them! He's pretty.

He's beautiful! Congratulations on your vermin control. I have no problem with snakes. Freaked out my daughters' Girl Scout troop several years ago, and picked up a little garter snake that was laying in the grass. Most of the girls got away pretty quickly except for mine and one other.

Of course my new fancy living mouse trap does have its drawbacks: I move VERY slow in my barn now. And believe it or not every lead rope looks like a snake now.

He is kinda cute! I wouldnt bother him either unless he was venomous or hanging around where my kids play or something.

I like him. Nothing better than a snake for mouse control!

Lucky you! Best mousers EVER, and you don't have to worry about them breeding like unspayed cats, either!

Holy crap - we never see any snakes that size up here!! We just get the little garter snakes... I'd pass out if I saw that in the barn

Holy crap. I have to say I am not afraid of snakes necessarily, and we have no poison snakes where I live, so I have no reason to be afraid, but honestly, if I walked in the barn and saw that I am fairly certain I would birth a cow....
