Nope...not photo shopped.....but people online have been trying to claim they caught it!
See below. http://www.hoax-slayer.com/broken-bow-gar.shtml The photographs are genuine. However, in spite of the claims made in captions overlaying the images, the monster alligator gar was not caught in Broken Bow Lake, Oklahoma nor did it weigh 327 lbs. |

It's terribly ugly! I'm sorry, I just don't understand killing things to hang them on your wall! If you are killing something because you need the meat, that's different. I just don't get the mindset of killing something, no matter how ugly and mean it is.

I know we have gars around here in the lake, and have heard of people catching them....supposed to be quite nasty if you get them in the boat. they have long skinny noses lined with teeth. BUT they don't look like THAT fish. I would have a heart attack if I was swimming and that mammoth thing came to the surface

Uhmmmm....  Things like that make me want to never go in water again. Photoshopped or not, there are fish that size.. sunfish, sturgeons. Scary!
