Animal sightings on my way to work

I have had 2 great days on my way to work. I ride with my student to school (about 2 1/2 hrs ride per day) Yesterday while on the bus, we saw a moose alongside the road. Not 5 minutes later, we saw a deer in the field. We were commenting that the only thing we missed seeing was a bear. Well today, we saw a mother bear with her 2 cubs up in a tree. Mom was under the tree and she sure gave us an evil eye when we got off the bus to get a better look. (Adults only, kids were still securely strapped in)

A little further along the road, we saw a baby moose. Unfortunately, we think he has brain worms. That can be fatal for a moose. Apparently this little guy has been sitting along the marsh for the past 4 days. We are calling Fish and Game to come take a look and see if there is anything they can do. One of his ears was drooping down. He didn't even stir when we got off the bus to get a better look. Don't worry, we stayed a safe distance. He was as cute as can be. It was kind of sad.

Just where to heck do you live? Sounds like an adventure through a game preserve.

And to think we stop the car to look at someones cow.

That is way to cool. Wish I had been there but then I'm glad I'm not traveling 2 !/2 hours daily.

Last week I was driving down a busy 4 lane road in the rural part of town Im in, and a car in front of me stopped real quick. Im thinking hurry up already (people do it all the time on this road, drive 20mph) Anyway, there was a spotted fawn crossing the road. Poor lil thing. There is nowhere for animals to go anymore.

I forgot my camera again today but the only thing we saw was the sick moose. We saw a truck that said "Animal Relocation Services" and I hope that means that someone is going to see if they can save the poor guy. He is really little but we discovered that he is not a baby, more likely a yearling as you can see the nubs on his head. Our bus driver took pictures but she doesn't have access to the internet.

BTW: I am in rural New Hampshire.
