NEW BIRDY pics
My babies are getting bigger..
We have 4 babies.. the two biggest (large & medium) have feathers growing and they will soon be by them selves in a carrier, the other two (small -my baby and teeny) are getting there- teeny may always be small and he is starting to OPEN his wittle baby eyes. 1st up TEENY ![]() 2nd is MEDIUM ![]() 3rd is LARGE ![]() and 4th is .. You can see -small- my baby is the 1st one closet to the camera then large's pecked head, then medium behind that.. ![]()

no, he just needs more food and attention. he may need to eat more often, but his gullet looked full from the pics...if he winds up a little small, he will still be fine. how much younger is he from the rest of them?

He is technically 4 days smaller.. but.. He isnt doing so hot today.. I dont know he just isnt perky.. I hate to seperate him just cuz he might not make it since he'd get cold..I dont have a brooder and right now they are in my bathroom living in a carrier on a heating pad.. He just wasnt perky this morning. But hopefully he perks up later..

Well TEENy is still that.. TEENy.. I think he 's just not growing. He cant hold his head up.. and he is only 3 days behind one that is 4x his size and has tons of pin feathers growing.. He hardly eats.. (its just so sad)
We are pretty sure we are just providing life support at this time

my prayers are with you, have you. have you tried a bird vet to get some advice? or even a local breeder of small birds, they usually have good sound advice and could even offer some ideas.i will also look to see what i can find out for you...

I went to the thrift store and bought a NICE cage on a stand and it had perchs included.. I plan on scrubbing it silly .. then putting it in my office! Plus its good sized.. So in a month my lil guy should be fully feathered and living in his new home
