| New Additions and I love them! Pics For as long as I can remember I've always wanted a rat. I don't know why but I did. Well finally at age 24 I got my rats. Started at 2...now stopping at 4. I first got 2 females and loved them. So then i went back and got 2 boys...love them too! I've only had them for a few weeks, well the girls I think I've had for about a month now. But they're so funny and cute. I have MANY treats for them and I'm still finding new things for them, trying to find what each rats prefers. They in seperate cages, girls in one cage and boys in another. I have 1 large cage and another medium cage. I switch them back and forth so both sets get a chance to ply in the huge cage. Here are some pictures!!! This is Cylis, one of the boys.  And Beau my other boy  and Brooke one of the girls  and Sarah

| I miss my rats!!! We had 2 females Freckles and Franchesica.... sadly they where together forever and when Franchesica passed on Freckles got very depressed and passed 2 days later

| Those are wonderful pictures! Check out and see if you have a small animal vet around your area. You can actually neuter your boys so you can keep them all together providing the cage is large enough. I have a ferret nation cage, but they have also starting supply the Critter Nation cage too, which has 1/2 bar spacing but is otherwise identical to the FN. |

| It would be a good idea to neuter the boys but there are more health benefits to spaying the girls. Rats make great pets I have 5 girls and they are lots of fun. I'm also a member of a rat forum it is really informative and full of really nice people you should check it out. http://jorats.com/
