Talking Buttercup

Well I did it again! We bought another baby Wednesday. He is coming from the same place we got Paco. The guy that sells them doesnt even touch them until he has to get them out of the field to leave. Thats how Paco was, wasnt even halter broke when we got him, never touched by a human till the day I got him...and look at him now!

Okay now about my new baby. He is about 5 months old. He is palomino w/ a white mane and tail and a blaze. We are thinking that he may turn appaloosa (I hope!). His mother was a LOUD leopard app. and his daddy was a palomino. I didnt get to get that close the him but, He kinda looked like his butt was a little white. I dont know though, it was getting pretty dark.

He is going to be my fall/ winter project. But, first we are going to have plenty of bonding time and "getting to know what people are" time.

I also need help with names. I have some picked out but, any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. Here they are:
Trojan
Sunkist
Trigger
Stardust
(hint: I am not good with names)

Thatnks breburtch! I was knida thinking that those 2 names sounded a little girly too. But, I thought they kinda sounded like a palomino name and that is sort of what I am looking for. But, if I found another name that I like better then I would probably go with it. I guess I really dont know what kind of name I am looking for.

I think Nacho is a cool name, I also like the name Nakita, that would have been my Pali Appy's name had she been a boy. I can't wait to see pictures, I wonder if she looks like my Serenity. By the sounds of him, he might!!!

Well, I called the guy and told him that we would be there in about an hour, that we were on the way. He then told me that there was a problem, that is was a filly not a stud colt. Well, he of course needed more money for it. But, there was another colt that we looked at up there that he would take the same amount for it that I was supposed to give for the palomino (he was asking more for the colt the other day). Well we finally decided on a price for the palomino and I now have a filly!

Any name suggestions for her would be great. She is really coming around considering she hasnt been touched before today. She is becoming a total sweetie. I measured her and she is 26" tall at 5 months so hopefully she will stay on the small side. Like I said, I need some names for my new and only little girl. (I only have 3 other mini geldings so I am excited about having a girl now)

I am going to try and get pictures within the next couple days. This weekend I have been working hard to get her used to people. She is pretty much broke to lead now. She is starting to like these human things I have it down to 3 names...It will either be:
Buttercup
Daisy
Sunshine
Which do you all like best?

I like buttercup although now you could go with stardust or sunkist since it's a filly and not a colt

I think she looks like a buttercup. I don't like Daisy for her. Doesn't fit her looks to me. Sunshine...maybe. JMO

She is adorable!

With that hair do I would think about going with Miss Buckwheat . In all seriousness, she is very cute. How about Creampuff, Saffron, SugarPie--can you tell I am hungry
