worming question

It's time to worm my mini/pony foal and I am not sure what to worm her with. She is 4 weeks old today and weighs about 20 pounds. I am planning on worming mom on sunday (farrier coming) with duramectin. Is that alright for the filly or should I purchase something safer?

I do not know about anyone else but I would wait.
My mini babies at 4 weeks old are small about the same size as yours , I wait until fall. at least until 5 months old.

I don't know anything about mini's, but was told to worm the baby every 4 weeks. That seemed like a lot to me. If you think it's safe to wait until they are 5 months old, that's what I'll do. Thanks and any advice you can give would be wonderful.
