Jacks morning bath

Well, I usaully post Jack's pictures
in meet the horse.
But he's not a big horse, or a mini.
But I thought I would post them here.
He's a classic shetland.
This morning it was hot and muggy so out came the shampoo.
My baby is growing up. He turned 2 in April.
He's getting to be a pretty boy.
And he's keeping his pretyy little Arab face.

What a handsome fellow, he looks all clean and shiney!

How long do you think it will last?

Didn't last very long.
Turned him out, and when I came in he was
already laying out in the lot, soaking up more sun.

kaykay,
he's not a royal pony.
He does remind me of Royal Splish Splash, who I love.
I've never seen him though.
Jack is Rock"E" bred.

Sire: BAR GS ROCK E FASHIONABLE LADYS ESQUIRE
I love this stallion.

Dam: MASTERS RED RASPBERRY
This is were he gets his color.
She was bred to Squire 3 times all three foal were red roan sabino.

I might try a few local open shows with a friend, next year
to get my feet wet.
Jack just turned 2 in April, and has been slow in maturing.
I'm told that some of the Rock"E" bred ponies are that way.

kaykay,
he is gorgeous.
Just the right amount of white, to be called pinto.
Alot of people ask me about Jack's color.
It is different.
Hubby says it looks like he lost a fight with a paint bucket
Showing is on hold for right now. But it's something I do want to try
later on.
I hope to catch a show again this Oct.
