Flirt is on cam now :)

Our last mare to foal out is now on cam. This is our ASPC/AMHR mare Flirt. We are not sure of her due date as she bred on every cycle last year

But judging from her belly and bag I think probably in the next week. Since we are not sure we have her on cam now. Better safe then sorry!! I will update when I think shes closer to foaling. Flirt is a little tricky to watch as shes a drama queen and she sleeps flat out with her legs straight out. Last year she foaled so fast by the time we got to the barn the foal was born and standing. Thanks for watching!

After the last episode in the Painted Pasture foaling cam drama series, I'll hope for a short foal watch, an uneventful delivery and a happy and healthy mum and babe.

What are you hoping for here colt or filly, and what colour combos are we watching for?

Me too RM!!! Like I said I think we have another week on Flirt but wanted to be careful.

So far we have had 4 boys so Im really hoping for a black & white tovero filly!! Both sire and dam are black and white. Heres a head shot of flirt

Well a week of 'low energy' watch is OK, it's following it up with extended 'high energy' watch that we're trying to avoid

I'm sure all of HT will join you in the filly dance, everything here crossed for you.

That foal cam does Flirt no justice, she is stunning in a full color shot.

Well i had issues with the electric co. and missed patches birth. Now igot the electric all cleared up so im excited to watch Flirt!!!! Can't wait to see this one. I'm praying for a filly for you Kay, you deserve it after the last couple of weeks you had.

Thank so much for the good thoughts guys!! Im praying hard for an easy no drama foaling. Dont think we will see a foal tonight as her bag shrunk some today. Shes really dropped down but until her back gets big again dont think we will see any action

Things are a bit busy around here, so I tend to pop in and out of HT every time I come in for a drik or something. At the moment I'm resisting watching Flirt, we all know how addictive it gets. I'm relying on you Kay for a heads up that she's actually thinking about it

I am so excited for flirt!!
I was watching patches since day one
but I did not have a account (was not old enough)
but I was still watching every day and night.
I even had my mom watching at work to check on her.
But now I have an account and I can now have a say!!!
But lets hope that flirt isn't so stressful as patches was.

Sorry guys the weekend was nuts. I dont think Flirt is ready yet and I will for sure update when I think we are "in the zone" She had a beautiful tovero filly last year so we know a lot of her signs. She is a drama queen so will act ready to foal even when shes not. I know last year she did wax and foaled the next day so Im watching for that. We put her on cam early because the weather here has been so bad. Constant storms etc. Also the vet said they are seeing a lot of mares foal with no signs this year. She is dropped way down into her belly so I figured better safe then sorry. We will not watch her all night until she gets closer.

I have to laugh. My husband caught me watching last night. His remark was, ANOTHER ONE!!!

She does like to put on a show!

Yes she does!! Last year was her first foal and she drove us nuts!! She always looked like she was about to foal. Now I know her game LOL. But it does make it kinda fun to watch her on cam. Im thinking she will foal tword the weekend but will have to watch her bag and see.

Tell hubby you are just "checkin in" on her

These cams are addictive though. I help a few of my other horse friends watch theirs and I dont know what it is but it keeps you glued!

Promise is in the stall right now eating
