Saturday night at 9:30 we welcome to the world skylights Rosa musica. Rosa is a tiny red dun pinto filly. She's 21' and this girl has some mane on her its like 3 inches long! Very friendly foal. Her mom is our bay pinto mare, Jazz.

I had this feeling that i needed to go check on the other mares. Wouldnt you know it Bree our silver bay mare was lying down having a foal tooo!! She had a tough time of it though. There was one leg and then came the head. After we got the head out we had to reach in and get the other front leg which was difficult with mom being a maiden mare. So was born skylights Lakota Warrior such a big name for such a tiny colt with the spirit of a fighter. He's 23 inches tall. Not real sure on his color he's kind of a dusty gold but cant be palomino as no dilutes in the parents background. He does have the siver gene. Well just have to see when he sheds out. He has one blue eye.

got 2 more foals to go both due the first week of may

What cuties! Congrats on getting your colt out with no major problems. One of my friends just had to take her mini in for a C-section because the foal was in the wrong position and they ended up losing the foal anyway. At least her mare is okay. Whew, these minis can really make you worry with their foaling.l
