Unhappy Help! My Miniature is looking funny!

Hi, my mini, Randy, is a adorable little bay without white markings. He is 10 years old. As you all know, I'm sure, that horses are shedding like cats now. He is loosing his winter hair and is going nearly bare to his skin. There are little round cuts in the middle of the lost hair area. Is it round worm? He gets his shots and is dewormed when he is due for it. Please help me! He is very itchy and I don't know why! Thank you! ~Rodeo Girl~

I would suggest getting Lice powder on him and the rest of the horses if you have any,
sometimes for no reason these little guys get lice. dust once and 2 weeks later dust again, keep all equipment, halter and leadline, brushes seperate and not use on another horse.

Time ( the horse ) is sheddeing out also and she has bald spots. The vet said she was ok and could not explian it. Hope you guys can shed some light on it. The little cuts you see could very well be ringworm.
