best wormer for my mini
its time for him to be wormed and the last owner used (gasp) quest +, I was going to use invermectin... any other good brands?
if I decide a daily wormer... do the horses like the taste of those pellets? again what brands?

I have used both on my mini equines (horse, donkey, hybrids), and have never had problems with either. As long as you abide the dosage rates...it sems to work. I have also used the ivermectin plus praziquantel for the tapeworms too, again, no problems.

Do minis require different worming than regular sized horses? I use Zimecterin Gold for my twice yearly worming and Strongid C2X for daily worming. It's alfalfa based and I add it to their daily feeding and they don't know the difference!! I don't have minis, but regular sized and draft sized horses.

I use ivermectin on the big horse and for the minis. get the bots and some worms that the other wormers do not get rid of. Also rotate between the ivermectin and panacur or other brands, I do not use quest.
