Finding Registration?

Hi everyone!

I'm new here and just adopted my first mini. He is a 22 year old stallion, sorrel with flaxen mane and tail (he's not my first horse though, so please no comments about how hard stallions can be to handle - I know! :P)

He is a sweet, sweet guy who was quite mistreated where he was. I have him back on track now but the person I got him from told me he was registered.

They didn't know with who, had no registration number and no registered name. All I have is my little man's birth date and the name he had when he came to me - does anyone know if it's possible to track down his registration through his birth date and Province of birth?

Do they know if he was registered amha or amhr?? Its going to be very hard to find his registration number if you dont have the registered name. If you have the name or even half the name I can probably find it for you

Bless your heart for taking him in. Would love to see pictures

I have no idea which one he might be registered with. The AMHA has already told me that without his registered name or his number, they can't look him up for me. I figured this would be a long shot, but you never know! His name when he came to me was Brandy, but I've no idea if that is the name or a variation of the name he was registered under.

His birthdate is September 15, 1987 and he was born in British Columbia. Other than that, I have no other information!

Here is a link to a couple pictures of him - the first couple were taken right when we got him - he's way more groomed and his hair is in better shape now. The last is of him and his best friend - our 10 month old puppy.

I love his thick mane!!! Dang I really wish you knew even the farm prefix and we could track down his papers, but it really is impossible if you dont even have that

I will see if I can find out anything else about him...I figured it was a long shot with only a birth date to go on.

Thank you for the info and I'll let you know if/when I can find out more specific details.
