First picture is Chrome at the auction where Pure Thoughts Horse Rescue saved him. The second and third pictures are today. I can't wait to get him into harness.

I got lucky, before I saw him another woman adopted him but didn't tell her husband. She had to give him back which made him available to me. I have more pics being sent showing his high stepping trot. This guy can move.
Fortunately (as things can always be worse with auction horses), he was only wormy and underfed but not near as bad as some. He had no injuries but was scared to death. He had never been handled before that day.

His name is Splash.

Chrome is looking good!! He's a flashy little guy, but then again, I'm kinda partial to him because he looks so much like my little guy!!

Is yours a young horse. Mine is pretty much done growing. I like the shorter guys. I have Chrome and a mini gelding named Lil Bits-he's 36" and Chrome is 46"

He's a yearling with an unknown history. He was bought at an auction in July and I did speak to the previous owner's but they were not much help. Apparently he's the product of a breeding with a mare (which one they couldn't tell me) and their uncle's unregistered QH stud

. Basically unhandled when I got him. He was given his shots, gelded and wormed and is now coming along nicely. I just have to get rid of the "attitude" or tone it down somewhat and he will be a nice little horse. I have no idea how big he will grow either. The previous owners weren't much help. For all I know he could be pony sized, but that doesn't matter. He's cute!!

What an improvement. He looks so dejected in the first picture and now he is so handsome. You did a great job.
