My new favorite pic of my black arabian stallion

Just wanted to share this pic I found amongst the many Tony DeCosta took of Paladinn. The only thing I have done to the pic is crop out the gate, nothing else. It seems silly to only post 1 pic so I will add more but the first is my favorite... I am kinda upset that the girl that handled him for the shoot blacked out his white left coronet, the only white he has on him. Overall I like the pose/action.

No show sheen or artiface on him. Just great grooming and kept in during the day to keep from fading.

I tell you what, that is the most natural shine I ever seen on a horse. I have lost words drooling so much looking at him. Fantastic, magnificent, stunning, he is awesome.

Thank you, he's not perfect but he seems to epitomize the Black
Stallion. You're very kind, he catches my breath sometimes and I think this is one of those times.

Rather then making you read a bunch of single posts please let me say, I so appreciate your compliments on Paladinn. And I appreciate you taking the time and trouble to let me know you like him, that means alot to me.

We got Paladinn 10 years ago [has it been that long ago?] as a weanling. He had been starved inutero and is rather small as a result. But bring him out and he is 18hh. He loves to strut and show off... especially when the ladies are around. He throws big babies, I've got Lexi who is a strong 15hh. I realize that is not big to alot of you but arabs are not big horses and a solid 15 h is big to me. He has always had an exceptional coat and being black and in the sunshine he glows.

Please don't get me wrong, I don't mean to sound braggy, I'm just proud of him. After all I had nothing to do with his genetic makeup.

Because 2 stallions is hard to maintain on a small acreage with mares he is currently with a friend of mine in Massachusetts. Hopefully he will go to a show or 2 in the fall, we'll see. It'll be arabian shows, though.

Thank you again from my heart for your kind/confirming words, they do mean alot to me.

He looks amazing, what a beautiful boy you have there. I love his shiny coat, it really makes him breathtaking. You have done a great job with him and you certainly have the right to brag.
