Videos of Joe and Warpaint..

Thanks to TDH we got some videos of the boys last weekend while she was here. And boy was it some work behind the scenes.. Anyway I'll be adding them to our website and TDH is making me a CD so that I can copy it and send it out to people who really want one.

Anyway, here are the videos.. I haven't used youtube for awhile so if I did something wrong with setting them up let me know..

Joe's..

Warpaints

I just copied the link that was on the top of the page if thats wrong let me know..

I hope you enjoy them.. Gbar you might get a kick out of Joe's he was really being a silly boy.. let me know what you guys think? Do they show off some of there athletic ability..

Tthe bucking is halarious.. what a foolish child..

He can slide and sit back better with someone on him Marsha.. bareback works best..

Yes we were a little disapointed in his spins.. TDH had just shut the camera off when he did an awesome sliding stop but with it being a straight on shot even if the camera would have been on it might not have worked very well. He was being lazy in the round pen..

Ha ha I'm not staring in any films with Joe spining anytime soon.. I was happy to stay when he did it bare back not pushing my luck with someone having a camera..

Yep or if your not lucky.. They still show his natural ability even though he can do better.. But maybe some other time I'll get a video of him doing it the right way. But he was still good.

I was surprised by how silling he was being.. Normally he's not that silly but he was having fun.. We did his photo shoot right after he got done playing.. Which he was very calm and well behaved.. Even though we took him to an area that he had never seen before.. Thats what I love about him.. He'll run and play but then when your working with him he's quiet and calm.. Both boys are like that.. and I love that about them.. They are really well behaved boys.

From watching warpaints video I see where Lacy gets her running from and were magic picked up his moves from..

TDH did an awesome job with the videos.. She had the hard part..

Thanks scrapchick.. Both boys are alot of fun.. They are so well behaved and gentle that my daughter who's 11 has been riding Joe bareback in the round pen, and Warpaint always puts his head down so the little kids can pet him.

Wow, they both look great PVF. Joes is beautiful but I'm in love with Warpaint. Maybe a few down the road my paint filly can give me a Warpaint baby, I love everything about him!

Nice videos Have you thought about adding music? It always seems to make it more interesting. I also like the idea of some under saddle videos as others have mentioned

They are both broke and sound to ride, correct?

Carter thanks for the nice comments..

Tippy.. Nope no music, TDH did the editing and put together the videos. To me music is hard to actually match up with the horses movements and if its not match up it seems to distracting.. JMO

Next summer we may do a riding video of Joe.. he was started as a 2 yrd old and my daughter (age 11) and myself have been riding him in the round pen giving him a refesher course on the basics.. Next year hopefully he will go out to a really great trainer but at almost 700 a month I'm working with him so that the trainer hopefully won't have to waist time with the basics..

Warpaint isn't trained for saddle well he was when he was 2 but when I got him he would have had to go to a trainer and get restarted all over again. Also, there isn't any APHA shows that are close to us within 4 hrs one way.. And alot of the ones that I found wouldn't allow a stallion. So I didn't spend the money to get him back under saddle..
